Without an account, I keep your answers and results for 30 days, so I can see what works. With an account, your work stays saved until you delete it. I never sell your work or use it for anything else, and nobody else sees it unless you share a result yourself.
What I store
- Without an account: your answers and the result of each run
- To see which tools work and fix the ones that don't
- 30 days, then deleted
- With an account: your email, your name, your answers and your results
- So your work is saved in My work and you don't start from scratch
- Until you delete them or your account
- With an account: the details you save in My details, your credits and how you earned them, and who you invited
- To fill in the tools for you, and to run credits and referrals
- Until you delete them or your account
- A result you choose to share, and your rating of a result
- A shared result is public to anyone with its link; ratings tell me which tools work
- Until you stop sharing it or delete it
- Run counts: which tool, how long it took, what it cost, whether it finished
- To keep the site running and the costs in check
- Kept, with nothing that says who you are
- A random ID in a cookie
- To keep your runs apart from other people's
- 30 days
- Sign-in cookies, only if you sign in
- To keep you signed in
- Until you sign out
- A scrambled copy of your internet address
- To count your free runs for the day, and, with an account, to check a referral isn't you inviting yourself
- 2 days, or until you delete your account
- Your email for new-tool emails, only if you tick that box when you sign up
- To tell you when a new tool goes live
- Until you unsubscribe
- After you delete your account: a scrambled copy of your email
- So the welcome rewards aren't paid twice if you sign up again
- Kept, with nothing else about you
The tools also read the public web pages you point them at, and search the web for competitors.
Who helps run the site
A few trusted services do parts of the work. Each one only gets what it needs for its job, and none of them may use your data for anything else.
- Anthropic, the maker of Claude. Writes each result from your answers. It does not train its models on what the site sends.
- Google. Only if you choose Continue with Google: confirms who you are and shares your name and email.
- A hosting service. Runs the site and counts page views, without cookies.
- A database service. Stores the runs and your account, and handles sign-in.
- An email service. Sends sign-in codes, and new-tool emails if you asked for them.
Some of them are in the United States. Ask through the contact link below for the full list.
Cookies
A random ID, set when you run a tool. A note of the invite link you came from, for 30 days, if a friend sent you one. Sign-in cookies, if you sign in. The site needs them to work. There are no ad or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
Have your data deleted
With an account: open My work, then Settings, then Delete my account. It removes your account, every saved result, your saved details, credits, shared links and your new-tool emails at once. You can also download everything first.
Without an account: send me a message on LinkedIn (opens in a new tab) with the tool, the day, and the website you used. I'll delete those runs within 7 days. To stop the emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email.
Don't paste anything secret into a tool.
